The Newport Zoning Board of Review completed its hearings on the proposed 84-room hotel on America’s Cup Avenue Monday night, but decided to wait until next Monday to take a vote and make a decision.
During the almost four-hour hearing, the board heard from the developers, experts associated with the plan, and opponents.
IF MORE OF THE VISUAL WATERFRONT VIEW IS TO BE OBSCURED… THEN THE COMMUNITY SHOULD RECEIVE SOMETHING OF VALUE IN EXCHANGE.
